These hand-sculpted wooden vessels are characterized by their intricate, small openings at the top. Each unique piece begins as a log, lathe-turned to define its organic outside contour. Through the narrow opening, the interior is precision-hollowed, meticulously mirroring the exterior shape down to the base. This delicate craftsmanship results in thin-walled vessels, typically measuring a precise 3/8 to 1/2 inch in thickness.
